We all are what we have been. We all are moulded and fashioned by our origins, our education and the cultural fabric of the places where we live and grow up. At ITG, we come from places rich in history, traditions and passions. We design, develop and manufacture our traction units and lift components with a passion for technology and for the well-done work we have inherited.

At Italian Top Gears we aren’t only originating from the land where culture and technology are blended beautifully, but also from the area where are located the most important and famous European Companies for elevators machines. Italian Top Gears drew on the market a product and a manufacturing techniques expertise coming from the main Italian Companies of the Industry, in order to provide the best quality products at the most affordable conditions and backed by excellent service.

To us ITG is not just a trademark or Company name, but the essence of a different and better way of understanding how an hoisting machine has to be designed, marketed and serviced.

We are from Emilia Romagna, a fair and generous land where had origin many of the realities that have transformed our world, and which have often caused the development of our entire Country. It is not by chance that our National flag has been as first designed and used here.
Julius Cesar formed here the army with which he left to conquer the known world. It moved from here to conquer Rome itself, marking the beginning of the empire that gave birth to the Western civilization, and which has formed its habits and customs, and has often determined the legal and linguistic structure of many Countries.
Ours is a land of excellences, which have been embracing almost all fields of the culture of the human community, from sciences to arts and food.
The first University of the world, the “Alma Mater Studiorum” was founded in Bologna. Here had birth Alessandro Volta, inventor of the electric battery and first to determine the concept of quantity of electricity; Lugi Galvani was as well from our land. Here we had the first radio transmission, thanks to Gugliemo Marconi.
Where it comes to music, among the many others we had Arcangelo Corelli, Gioacchino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi, Arturo Toscanini, Ottorino Respighi and Luciano Pavarotti. In Emilia Romagna grew up the most celebrated Italian cinema directors: Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Pupi Avati. Also fashion design has solid roots in our land, for
instance Giorgio Armani and many of the most famous shoemakers are from here.
Back to our technology, again it is not by chance that Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini, the Maserati brothers, Ettore Bugatti, Amedeo Gordini, Antonio Cavalieri Ducati, were all from here. For this reason, the nickname “Motor Valley” is really correct for our land.
